In this first module, we’ll dig into the science of COVID-19, including what we know about its origins, clinical signs and symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, transmission, and infectious period.

- Identify the clinical signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and risk factors for severe disease
- Describe how someone is diagnosed with COVID-19
- Explain how this virus is transmitted from one person to another
- Describe when someone is infectious
